Monitoring

How often every monitored device is pinged. 10–30 seconds is recommended.

Scan ranges

Saved IP ranges used by "Scan ranges" on the Devices page when the box there is left empty. One range per line, e.g. 192.168.1.0/24 or 10.0.0.1-50.

Alerts

The test uses the last saved settings — click Save first if you changed anything above.

Device metadata probing

After a scan, DHMS can ask cameras (ONVIF) and switches (SNMP) for their serial number, brand and model. Best-effort — it never blocks discovery.

Clear stored data

Use this when this account moves to a new site or LAN, so old readings never carry forward. Clear live status keeps the equipment list but forgets every up/down reading and its history. Remove all devices wipes the inventory too, for a clean slate. This only affects this account.

Dropdown lists

The values technicians pick from when logging a fix. Deactivated values are hidden from the form but stay in old records.
